MSPM1chele's DD/RTA/NASA/SCCA Thread

Saw the car in person. She did an awesome job on it. Looking forward to seeing it at TBCM this year. How much boost u running Michele?

no. it snapped bc i had stock motor mounts, which is why corksport now recommends that you buy the upgraded mounts (bc of me haha).

Alright, sounds good. I have AWR front and rear mounts and probably going for inserts on the sides.

So... When do you want to go on a date?

LOL!!!!

But honestly, you ever going to ditch that sidemount and go with a AWR or similar Rad?

before the BC coil overs, whzt type of drop were you running? I love that lower stance.

battery is the one.and u should have bought a yellow top

but your cars almost as sexy as you congrats

interstate battery = $0.00 for me :]

:] thank you. I am TOTALLY looking forward to TBCM again :D I am only running about 8psi Redline Time Attack is very strict on mods in enthusiasts class.

Hey MSPM1cheLe are you planning upgrading to a big brake kit? What are you using now on MSP?
I have stock calipers with DTC pads for the Track and Hawk HP Pluses for street/autocross. oh and stainless steel brake lines. Dot 3/4 fluid

Sometimes less is more. Or in this case, none.

Somehow I knew you would be the first one to comment...

LOL! Even funnier because she ignored you!
hahah sometimes ignoring things like that keeps me out of trouble

errrr.... i am not a fan of carbon fiber... butttt I may find myself running the cf "evo" vented hood just for the track, so i can get more airflow cooling. but i will not be running the cf hood as a daily, since, im not a fan. :P

You talking about the carbonfiber comment? Cause thats just a insane thing to say! Carbon fiber is god! didnt you know?

Michele, can i haz your old springs? haha

cf god??! blehh. haha anddddd i am going to hang onto the springs for now, but if i decide to let em go i will let you know.

i like the foam around your a/c lines, keeping thing cool in vegas! ;)

NICE! one out of about 150 that actually understood what that is for. :] props to you sir :]

MSPM1cheLe, you could always paint the carbon fiber, lol. It would be much better then stock because of the weight. But the Evo style one isnt that great IMHO, it cracks to easily. I would suguest getting a XC Hood and painting it stock color. :D

which XC hood? they have 3, maybe 4 including the stock replacement.

also, we all know weight savings by CF on a street car is a joke.

is hers a street car? she tracks it. Its worth it man dont be stupid. and she lives in hot weather, its worth it even more to let some heat escape the motor bay.

And they have 3 hoods. and i wound never suggest the stock replacement without no scoops or anything because that isn't worth it. but either of the 2 with scoops is good. Don't be stupid man....

she would be better off buying lightened rims over the racing harts. it might be a little more expensive but the racing harts are what, 22lb? she could get a set of 17 lb wheels, save the same amount of weight but get better performace (minimally but it still counts) since its on the drivetrain, and suspension for that matter.

as far as weight savings go,
bodywork: 15lb savings on sprung weight for a hood... maybe?
flywheel: fidanza is 7lb, stocker is like 19... thats 12lb savings on the sprung weight AND the drivetrain
wheels: -5 per wheel, so thats 20 pounds on the unsprung weight and 10 on the drivetrain

so yeah in racing every pound counts, but if youre not on a 300 million dollar F1 budget theres WAY better places to do it than CF body panels.
