4th Annual LRP Mazda Corral

Hey Tony? What happened to this stuff? You're not bringing the tent or canopy anymore?

Ok guys let's start a list of who is bringing what?

I am bringing: BEER!
9 Person tent(have room for 6 People.
10x10 Canopy. Portable grill.
Will bring some burgers and hot dogs for friday.

Also lets get a list of who's going!

1. MazPro502(Tony plus Kyle)

Yea I am still bringing most of it, tent is a no go, the canopy yes, burgers hot dogs, and beer yes. Just dont have the tent anymore. It was in my attic, but I guess when my Brother in Law moved out,he took it upon himself to take that with him, and doesnt know where in his mess of a house it is.....I might go buy a new one, if I cant find mine at his house.

I would, but I think I am already committed to getting the house for Marlon and crew again.

So is anyone camping out for this weekend? I know I'm looking forward to it.

Pretty sure I'm camping out....

I live just over an hour away so if it's raining or wicked cold, I'll likely drive back and forth (or get a room nearby).

WTF!!!!!!!
New “K-Nein” Rule Starting 2010: Lassie (must regrettably) Stay Home

Well, we’ve been telling people on the phone, and we’ve been answering the question when asked, but like a band-aid that’s gotta be removed, we’ve now decided to yank it off in one fell swoop and just tell everyone the news straight out: Dogs can no longer be on the Lime Rock Park property during the track’s spectator events.

We know the policy is unfortunate for some of our Lime Rock customers – and even for some of the race teams – but we had no real choice in the making of this decision. Sorry.

So, to reiterate... No dogs allowed for:

May 14-15 SCCA
May 28-31 Grand-Am
June 18-19 SCCA
July 2-3 NASCAR Doubleheader
July 23-24 ALMS Northeast Grand-Prix
September 3-6 Historic Festival 28
October 1-2 SCCA.

The prohibition applies to everyone: Campers, RV-ers, day spectators and race teams. The “No Dogs” policy does not make us happy, but it is what it is these days.

Thanks for reading and hopefully understanding...

The Staff at Lime Rock Park

I may not be doing this weekend any longer.

Marlon, I'm sure this causes some issues for you and your wife as well.

It is a pain in the ass for us and I feel like we were blinsided! I already sent a rather lengthly e mail about how we are driving all the way from Ohio, with a 14 year old dog, that is a AKC good citizen and is alowed in hospitals and nursing homes.

I think it is going to cause a number of issues for a lot of us.....we do have some leeway, as we have a house that we are renting, we may have to hire a pet sitter as well, becuase of this revelation. Luke, let me know what we can do to help you and Mac out. You have been one of our mainstays and I don't want you to lose out because of this.

I have Lauri checking into pet sitting services in the area, hell, we may have to bring someone from Ohio to help us out.
