Im looking into buying an 06 Mazda6 with 75K miles on it, but Im wondering how many miles I can expect this car to last for. Any insight would be helpful, thanks

75k is no biggy.. but, youll be needing all the basic services.. and they cost $$ learn most of the basic fluid and brake services, and this car will last a long time..

They're not Toyota/Honda dependable, but these Mazdas will take you places. If the car has been properly maintained you can expect it to go another 40-50,000 miles without much issue, and up to 75,000 miles with some maintenance. Again, that is going on the basis that it has been properly cared for up to this point.

But why are they selling it? Possibly cause they see the future with how its been treated...

As always, it depends on how the car has been maintained. For instance, I keep every receipt and a log of maintenance. I do all the maintenance myself since I have access to the equipment, so I know what has and has not been done. I would only buy a high mileage car from someone like me. It's my own personal bias and expectation.

In all honesty, I'd buy a MZ6 with 75k over a MS6 with 75k. I say go for it.

My wife and I have 2004 Mazda 6's, I have 61K on mine, no winter driving and my wife has aroung 68K. We take very good care of our cars, no issues to date. We have another friend, with over 124K on his 2004 Mazda 6, no major reparis to his car as well.

As what has been said in earlier posts, if the car has been maintained well, you havea good shot of the car not costing you an arm and a leg. Both of our cars are modded as well.
