What have you done to your P5 today?

Well I for one would like to reverse some of the thing's I have done to the car if i were ever to sell it.So plugs would be nice and don't look all that bad. Also depend's on how far your willing to go into your wallet to get it done the right way weld them up,grind down, bodywork and then paint the whole hatch.

Not really feeling those bumps, and you could always get stick on badges anyways right? Wouldn't be too hard to reverse.

As for going deep into the wallet, it's not too expensive when you do it all yourself, and can't those spots just be painted (airbrush)? I don't really see a need to repaint the entire hatch.

Don't ever drive the car. That's really about the only way.

Lol... if only... there isn't some kind of coating i can put on the metal after polishing it to keep it clean?

An anti-exhaust force field? Let's put it this way, you can wash and wax your car all you want, but if you run it through a mud hole, the car's going to get mud on it. You can put whatever you want on the exhaust, but it's still going to be bolted to a car that by nature runs rich. Besides giving the exhaust tip a wipe every once in a while (or not drive it like Phen said), there ain't a whole lot for it.

You could always paint the muffler flat black like I did. Then it just stays flat black. heh-heh

does anyone like this? I had an idea so I tried it out, got the 5 emblem part of sr5 from a tundra. I cleaned and trimmed it up and then painted it black. I dont currently have them on the car , just took a pic with them on.

less emblems = better IMO.

where can you get those emblem plugs? , I want to do that to my hatch. I hate the Protege5 emblem. I wish they didnt put those damn holes in the hatch.

They are a temporary, easy solution. I can put my wing back on in 10 minutes if I want... About 8 min of that is getting the wires stretched back over and soldered. I don't think anyone is arguing that a clean shave doesn't look better. But these plugs cost me like $3-$4 & some touch-up paint.

I think home depot carries them

^Ya you can get them at probably any hardware store. "Nylon hole plugs" Ace hardware had a much better selection of them than Home Depot tho.

Ordered my jdm power folding mirror's yay.I'm gonna wire them up so when I turn the car off they close and when the car is on they pop open should be fun.
