What have you done to your P5 today?

A turbo P5 without a trunk full of tools?? I have enough tools in the back of my p5 to do just about anything +2 jackstands. I'm going to do a fiberglass enclosure amp rack but with little cubbies for tools and cleaning supplies eventually.

lol i thought i was the only one who kept a ton of tools in the car
i still need to find a lightweight jack thats not to big and i need to buy some jack stands and then im set to do anything anywhere haha

I have a new pic of Dub's lights as they're almost done but I don't wanna post a pic in here and get aMaff all hurt so check my FS thread for the pic.

Nice work! I would get some 1/4" spacers under the amps so you can tuck that wiring under and through the seatback instead of it going down the middle. It would look 100X cleaner

Got my TWM Short Shifter and Urethane Bushings in today, plus the Razo Formula Shift Knob with short boot, definitely the most fun per dollar mod ever!

Then, bolted on the JIC Magic Cat Back...left the cat to feel the noise level. I can simply swap out the cat for straight pipe machined with stock flanges...but it's loud enough right now...lol.

The sound level is perfect and no annoying drone or hum at all is present. It's a very dry and crisp rasp when you really hit it starting at 4K RMP, which is where it should be. Fitment is also amazing with the tip finishing flush on the valance.

Back at the shop again. Second attempt to lower the car 1" all four corners and make the drop even.

*edit
oh wells. Guess I need to purchase a new complete passenger side coilever if I plan on doing any height adjustments. The shop removed the coilover and can't get it to spin. It's seized :( must be these damn Hawaii pot holes. Probably crushed the threads in the lower sleeve.

Looking to do the side sub enclosure mod. Anyone else do it? Got pics?

EDIT: Nevermind. its not going to fit the the GTSpec cage...=(

As long as it clears the link bars that connect the Rear strut bar and trunk reinforcement bar I don't see why it wouldn't...I have both of those installed with every single bit of the rear panels in...if you want a pic I will get you one...

This is my current setup right now. Kinda want to clean it up.

The exhaust was installed last night. Thunder header w/ MSP axle-back... Took a vid today, but too lazy to upload it right now.

Did the wiring for the deck, MSP sub, and MSP amp. First time ever doing wiring, soldering, etc, but i think it turned out alright. Everything works so I'm happy with that. The privacy cover almost doesn't clear the sub/amp enclosure the way it's mounted so it sticks out sometimes. kind of annoying, and i think it means i can't put the 6x9's in the privacy cover. I'm guessing 6x9's don't fit the front doors since those seem to be the next weak link.

Tomorrow, maybe debadge, summer tires, and maybe start looking at the rust to see how to go about fixing it.

Meaty tires fTMFw! I really like what you've done with it, Scratch.

I just put on some new Icons and swapped the winter wheels for summers. I forgot how much I like the Eagle GTs.

Andrew: Round speakers are far superior to ovals for SQ and output. 6.5 components should be plenty nice...

yep... going to bondo, sand down, and paint after taking them off (there's a bit of hatch rust just starting anyways at the protege5 badge)

cool, just wanted to give you a head's up. That is quite a bit of work but it's going to look great. I wish I could debadge.

Be careful bondo is a terrible source for filling small holes. You should atleast spot weld them shot then bondo on top. Hey there honrsfan You should send me your tail lights so I can make them shine real purty.

That's an old pic, a box spring fell on my car and busted the pass. tail so I got a new pair from JDMJNKY. I think I want some JDM tails next but i'm getting vinyl overlays for the clear circles.

I also waxed my car yesterday and got a Mazda 6 rear wiper.
