Took the MSP out to the first autox of the season today... was a blast as usual, loving my Road Magnet Springs and RT-615's!

Nah, that's the tab that bolts up to the radiator and holds it in place essentially.

Anal retentiveness.... lol I have some pretty good engine bay cleaner and then an aerosol dress-up spray that works really well to keep it clean, protect it, and make it easy to clean up next time. Its safe for all electrical components, gaskets and belts. Once you get your car back up and running, swing up here and we can try it out on your beast!

unless you're keeping trade secrets, I think he was looking for the product names. lol

No joke, I need some of these.

Nylon hole plugs. Go to your local hardware store, I got mine at Ace Hardware but I know Home Depot has them too, although Ace had a better selection of different diameters. I had to just look around for a minute to find them, cause the people working there were clueless. Check the hardware aisle. I recall using 1/4" for the emblems, 3/8" for the spoiler screws, and I *think* a 1/2" for the wire routing hole for the spoiler, IIRC. The people at Ace let me take 1 of each out to my car and test fit them so I knew exactly what I needed before I bought them. I would see if you can do this also. I think they were like $0.40 each or something.

Then assuming you have an extra bottle ( I have 2 or 3 sitting around, lol) of paint matched touch-up paint, paint the top "mushroom caps" of the plugs and then just stick them in the holes you need. I've had mine in for a year with no problems or leaks. You can seal the plugs with a sealant if you are really worried about it, but I haven't had any issues. They pop back out with relative ease also. Although if you pop them in and out too much I would guess they may stop providing a good seal. Good thing they are cheap. ;)

Today is the day my motor is being removed from my car :)

Its mainly hanging there right now, but going to wait for my dad to get home to fully pull it, makes it easyer with 2 people IMHO. (second)
