MS3 in April 2010 issue of Collectible Automobile

Never considered that it would be collectable but I do think it will be desirable for years to come. Its attractive inside and out, reliable, handles well and has tons of power. Considering the quantity of cars built these days, the MS3 is still a limited production car and I rarely see them on the road.

There are a LOT of people with MZ3 hatches that think we're driving the same car :)

There are a lot of us older guys driving MS3's because they are still new and costly. High school and college kids can't afford them but down the road a few years they will be sought after big time by these young kids with lite wallets. It's still the fastest car you can buy for the money. I hope to sale mine in a few years, before it blows up hopefully. The Cosmic blue looks fantastic under the lights at night. It's the only unique color to the MS3. I chose it out because it's the grown up and sleeper color. It blends well with traffic and does not attract unwanted attention from the guys driving cars with blue lights on the roof.

You said it best, on all counts. I hope to get at least 5 years out of mine. I can't believe how much fun this car is to drive. Sometimes I get up at 3 or 4 in the morning and just drive 20-60 miles on empty roads, just to feel the experience of driving. 11,000 miles in less than 9 months and I just can't keep still!

With my raise and all this overtime I hope to have it paid off by next summer (~2 years after purchase). Then I can just ride free, put $$ in the bank, and keep that stupid grin on my face!

Kind of funny... the possibility of this being a future classic was one of the reasons I bought this car (and the reason I cry every time I find something my wife spilled in it). I'm not sure if I'd ride it out and keep the car for 20 years to find out.... but this news kind of makes me think harder about it.

The black mica looks awesome when it's spotless and in bright sun. Then you can see the blue metal flake in it really well. Too bad it's so hard to keep it that clean. The CB has to be easier in that respect. Still wish I bought the true red though.
