AFC-SplitSecond PSC1 Map Library

Wagon maybe you can help me figure something out since you post alot here could the SSAFC cause me me to hesitate/jerk underboost when i install it the first time ?

til the ECU gets settled, anything is possible. mine was a lil jumpy, but smoothed out pretty quick. I just put mine in a couple weeks ago.

I don't know if your gauge is like mine (Autometer Digital), but with mine you have to turn the key to on for a second, then turn it all the way to start. During that brief pause the gauge recalibrates itself. If I don't pause in the on position prior to starting, the gauges don't zero properly and the readings are therefore not accurate. You might try it with yours or check the documentation that came with the gauge.

I will give that a shot, thanks.

how did you install the SSAFC Neysha?
check the connections on the wires that you cut and make sure they are good and not loose

if you have the SSAFC installed correctly you shouldnt get any fuel cut at all, maybe it isnt powering up right?

hey i had an issue because i ordered 600cc injectors to learn they may be too big for the ssafc?? but i pm ed a guy on here that is running 600cc on the ssafc. i asked him about it and if it was hard to make a map. still waiting on a reply, but i assume i am ok now? and that i can run 600cc in the ssafc????? anyone know, thanks everyone

600 is way bigger than you'll ever need. and it should be doable, but your map isn't going to be as good as if it were on 440's even if you put twice the time into it. This is because for every step of adjustment you make in the AFC you're adjusting it by more than double what that step adjustment would be on OEM injectors... so you can't fine tune nearly as well.

If he's tuned on 600's and he'll send you his map it'll save you weeks of headache... but so would selling your 600's and getting 440's.

ahhhh. i want to sell them, and i contacted corksports to try to mail them back and swap for the 440's, couple e mails but nothing substantial yet. if you know anyone who needs 600's please let me know

thats a fantastic idea, and they work with the wrx's,, no fitment or rubber ring peice fitment issues or anything!!!????

i really wish i knew that before i bough injectors a couple months ago. dam, thanks for the info. any ideas where anyonw with a wrx would be selling there injectors? prob. there forums maybe?

need more info... this is in the R4 software i take it? when opening customer? did you download the map from this thread?

Yep, I dled R4 directly from the ss site and just to try things out, I dled the 2 of the maps in this thread. When opening customer, both time the error came up saying "runtime error". So I tried it on another xp comp. Same thing.

When I create new customer, I am able to open it. I don't know what's going on.

BTW, this is when I don't have the AFC connected to the comp.

The car hesitates like crazy after 4k rpm, so I checked today and one of the wires came loose. After connecting it again, its much smoother, but still hesitates. I want to try some other maps to see if it helps.
Thanks for your help! I appreciate it!

Whats up friends. Lemmie start off by saying that i've read every page of this thread; i know whats up. I have built a pretty solid map for winter but now that its warming up im running hella rich. I was wondering if anyone (w/ comparable mods to mine) would post their tweaked maps. Just looking to compare some notes. As always, any help is much appreciated! (drinks)

I would suggest a 440cc map, or a FMIC map.

These are all just starting maps anyway. Custom tune is best.

haha, that's exactly my point.. no one has ever loaded a masterpiece up here. I just wanna see where some people are at with their cell values. (wiggle)
