MS6 knocking sound

I have a very low pitched knocking sound coming from my engine at idle. It doesn't seem to be there when the car is first started in the morning, but slowly appears after driving for a few miles. It's loud enough to be heard inside the car while at a stop light, and sometimes while standing outside of it.

To me it doesn't sound like a metal on metal sound, it's not a click or a tap, and doesn't sound like a rod bearing. I'd describe it as more of a very slow rattle. You can hear it get faster when you give the engine some gas, but the engine noise eventually drowns it out around 2000 RPM's.

I first noticed it around ~50,000 miles (it very well could have been there longer) and took it to the dealer around 51,000. The first time they told me it was the HPFP (it's not) and that it was a normal sound. I took it back to the dealer again and this time they told me it was the turbo making the noise. They also said the turbo was blowing tons of oil. I had a buddy of mine swap in a stock turbo from a wrecked car figuring I might be able to kill two birds with one stone. Needless to say, the knock is still there and I'm still clueless as it where it's coming from.

The car now has about 85,000 miles on it and the sound hasn't gotten any worse or any louder in the last 35,000 miles. Has anyone with a MS6 experienced anything like this before? I almost want to go back to the dealer (maybe the 3rd time's a charm) and see what they tell me this time.

spun bearing maybe?..

Pasadena huh? Your Speed6 probably doesnt work well with BWI parkway and route 100....cant forget about Arundel Mills too. But it will probably run better if you pay more visits to Annapolis or the bars in Federal Hill. Completely irrelevant I know.
