It could be painted? The 'rough' look doesn't do it for me, makes it look, ricer. Although the teal wheels don't help either. That's just 1 guy's opinion that thinks anything other than OEM looks like crap though. So take it how you will.

this looks a lot better. If the lip were painted I could go with the turquoise rims more.

lol that lip is acutally vinyled in that picture =p. the lip i have now like the lip i had back then is made of Polyurethane, so paint doesnt really stick to it unless u add special things(flexing agent ect.).

my gf hates the teal as well, its no biggie, people are entitled to their own opinions, i respect them, although doesnt mean ima cry in a corner and change my s*** you know.

I painted the lip and the paint basically chipped off overnight, but the way it came out, call me crazy but i like it, it has some weird flow to it in my eyes.

inspiration?

what inspired me was actually the bronze RPF1's, i had black wheels before, then these bronze ones and i just felt that those colors were overdone, so i wanted to go with something new, fresh and basically a slap in yo face, i have arrived color. so i picked Teal (for a breif second first choice was orange) hen i looked up teal on white. I found this White Evo with Teal wheels(see below) and that pretty much sealed the deal for me.

lol i know they mean the paint on the lip xD i dont see it as something that needs fixing, not like its punchin babies while i drive or causing me to leak coolant everywhere.

I got 17x8.5 +30 on 215/45/17
Bc coilovers with no alteration to the camber to the front, the rears just gained camber.

i didnt even prime it, just sprayed straight over the urethane

hasnt cracked off yet, but i did get a ton of fisheye (solvent pop bubbles) for some reason

Urethane and Polyurethane are VERY different, do you have polyurethane ur just urethane? if you have polyurethane what paint did you use?

its just regular urethane, but i used dupont paint and clear

i imagine if you sanded it good enough and prepped it, then the paint shouldnt be breaking off like that unless you hit alot of s*** on the road with it lol

I painted that lip (wheels too, still look amazing haha) and the paint started to peel off the next day as expected because same thing happened with the lip before...hence the vinyl. The beat to s*** wasnt intentional but, ended up looking really dope on Pauls car. If it bothers you then look away. Its his car. Love everything about it btw. So much character.
