i just ordered all the parts i need for the speed6. should have it on the road in a couple weeks.

possibly turning on and off the auto-dimming feature. I have a sport so i don't have that feature, simply guessing lol
dropped her off today to get the carpet replaced, have the rear MM and Diff Checked out just incase. and HELL YEA quik.. 3 days ago was my first time snow drifting in an AWD car.. i had a FWD car before and you have no control and kinda slide then come to a stop pick up speed and do it again.. i had COMPLETE control over the car even in slides i could even back out and slide the other way even at about 20 MPH.. drift circles were easy.. weaving while sliding was easy and figure 8's were easy and SOOO much fun..i felt like Ken Block in his STI lol.. i never liked winter before but now.. thanks the the mazdaspeed6 and its glorious AWD.. i LOVE winter.
dont feel bad... i have a GT and i dont have an auto dimming mirror
GOT MY AP!!
Just worried about the car dying while I am installing...
its cold in Canada.
Should I be worried?
I'm thinking I might be able to get it out by dropping the subframe. If not, oh well. It'll just take longer. In the end, the clutch on the Speed6 is the only thing I never liked. It feels terrible. It clamps terribly. And regardless of adjustment, it never disengaged fully so getting into first gear was sometimes very difficult.
I'm picking up the Spec Stage 3 and Fidanza aluminum flywheel today. At least I have a lift to do it on next weekend. I wouldn't dare attempt it without a lift... lol
Subframe WILL have to come out and you still have to take the turbo out to access the top bolts of the trans.... Trust me it will not be quick or easy for you...
haha! I think the carpet texture is different on the speed 6.
