What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

You only need 2 jackstands but it will take longer. Do the back, put the wheels on carefully, then move to the front.

Lost my s*** today driving to school... some kind of rock or chip hit my windshield and left a huge crack that's expanding... Going to apple auto glass tommorow morning first thing... looks like I'll need a new windshield :(.

sucks! do you have insurance that covers it?

Not sure yet... first thing is just going in tommorow to see if I actually need a whole new windshield or if they can just fill up the chip...

Any of you guys know what could lead to boost creep??? All my clamps are tight. My car creeps up about 2-3 psi at 5300+ rpm. Also my knock is always 0 until I hit that same mark. So I get boost creep and about 2.5-4.0 knock consistantly at around 5300rpm. Something is wrong.

Right now my only guess is that my fuel pump blows and im running lean. Could that lead to boost creep though??? I really don't think thats the issue though because I had the same problem before I was using my cobb ap.

If you have a crack then the windshield will need to be replaced. Just make sure they get you the correct one, ours is different from the normal 6 (IIRC the main thing is the clear part at the bottom so you can read the VIN).

Went to mcdonalds this morning in the drive through. As I was pulling up I could hear a slight popping coming from my drivetrain somewhere. The sound was louder and noticable since I was right beside the brick wall. Not sure what the heck would cause this. I have heard it off an on for the past couple of months. :(

I didn't know that even the windshield is different on our cars... wow. I'll bring it up tommorow...

Got the windows tinted 35% all around yesterday, and passed by P&L Motorsports today awesome place with a lot of cool people.

Blew the silicone coupler coming off the turbo on the way home tonight. Scared me. Thought I blew the engine. 18 psi under hard throttle and a complete loss of power and a loud hiss emerged. Let off as fast as I could. Pulled over to check it out. Sure enough the worn clamp came loose. I believe the oil was the culprit. Fresh oil on the exit side of the turbo. Hmmmmm. I knew the turbo has been blowing through a little bit of oil for a long time now.

OMG, i just freaked out for you just reading this

I wonder if you could find a way to put a drain cock in the bottom of that hose and get it to seal up.

no one installing anything?
I am still looking to do the last 2 wires of y remote start. I had installed it mainly to get remote door locks and roll down the windows.
20K miles

I was able to get a t-bolt to it. I tried it after a hard drive. The heat started soaking in once I got the pipe off the turbo. Started burning my hands and put the worm clamp back on. I can make it work once its cold....
