Hey i was wondering if anyone would wanna do a meet sometime at the Xtreme Indoor Karting center in fort lauderdale?

I think it would be fun to have a group of us racing it out on the in door track.
This is a Gauging intrest if enough interest is there ill plan it out and see if we can get any discounts .

This sounds like a good idea. I see they've recently redid the track layout, and I've been looking for a reason to go. And besides, for Christmas my lovely wife bought me a $50 gift certificate that's burning a hole on my desk, need to use it.

Yes. I was a member of the old place, when it was known as Speed (or something kike that), with polished concrete. It's run SO much better with the new owners/management.

I'd love to but I don't get out of work M-F until 6 PM. I'm not available next week Mon-Tues, but might be able to go Wed or Thurs, Thurs the better night. Week after, available M-Th, again, after 6 PM.

Have you tried the new layout?

On the previous layout I fought my way down to 28.40. I go about 160 lbs. I didn't have that many shots at that layout to get any faster, but I don't know where I would have found anything more than 2-3 tenths. I was really trying to break into the 27's, but I know a REALLY good time is in the 26's.

On the original layout my best was 27.25; same issue: couldn't shave off the last few tenths to get into the 26's.

You? Based on you mentioning the $60 3-7 PM deal, I suspect you've done that already and are considerably faster than am I.

yea i did the track on 2 different times. It was awesome. My best time was a 33.13 but they had yellow flags most of the time which i hate. but i saw someone with a 28 sec run when i got my print out for the daily times.
