Lol it took me less than an hour and I took the wrong side off first. I followed my old knowledge and traced the top rad hose to the block then had to argue with the parts department about where it was on the msp...

+1.... what you describe as an air bubble is likely an incidence of the thermostat sticking temporarily. If thats what it is it will happen again, and prolly leave you stranded somewhere.
Yea i think its a 30min job.Stupid parts department. They dont know anything and they'll charge u up the ass for a simple oil change.

Pretty sure I found the original red MSP concept car pic. Gonna check with a local mod first before I slap that sucker on these forums and get razzed on.
As for my MSP... the radio glitched up on me today. Stock Kenwood unit. All the lights except the display and a hint of the volume knob are left. It's already had the ribbon wire fix. I turned the volume down a touch and it went black, folded down, then turned off and was stuck in the down position. I am too cheap to replace it. Hit the reset button and all is well (dimly lit and back to factory settings). I can't wait til I get my new better paying job and the MSP finally get's all the upgrades I've been dreaming about.

Replaced the bulb in my Ultralite boost gauge, got a red one this time. I don't know if that was such a good idea though, while it's closer to the rest of the car, it's simply too red. Maybe I should look for some red cluster bulbs to go with it?
Noticed a crack in my windshield monday (notcool), and I got it confirmed that a 323 windshield will fit in my MSP, at least they are easy to get then, still expensive though

Thats why I do everything myself, unless it's still under warrenty. I'm not sure how anal Mazda is but alot of warrenties let you replace the oil yourself if you have proof of it.

So I'm thinking about replacing the spark plugs once I get my car tuned properly. I know there are a few different kinds (platinum and what not) but I have no idea what the difference is between them. Not sure if it makes a difference but my power mods are:

sadly, I've bought them once, but I've recommended them so many times I have the model number memorized.
as for me:
have on the way:
tribute washer nozzles
tribute fender markers
bluebat smoke overlays for corners and rear turn/reverse
a switchblade key/fob
edit: and a spare remote I may or may not resell... cheap on ebay FTW
also have a couple of filters for lenses and a camera bag, notable here as its mostly to take pics of the MSP. lol

Question for you all:
Sometimes when im in third or fourth gear going about 35-50 mph and i try to gas it really fast on a straight flat surface of the road i feel like im getting wheelhop. Why is this? could it be because my tires are cold or is it really wheelhop and if it is what do i do to fix this?
