Manufacture Date and problems(or lack of)

I thought I would start a thread where we can post the manufacture date of our MS3 which can be found on the bottom right outside part of the drivers door jam. Maybe a correlation could be found with cars that have problems and the date they left the factory.

I'll start with mine,

Manufacture date: August of 2007 Hiroshima Japan, car is a 2008 GT with 27.7k miles since new and I've had no problems or issues with it. Level of mods: medium.

10/02/07. 2008 GT. 10,048 miles. Faulty Pulley Tensioner at 9,800 miles.

I would sell yours. The 07"s had some major recalls. I would trade a nice set of truck tires for it. What??

Where'd you find the exact date? I only see month and year on the door jam.

Mine is 9/07 and has 26K now. Brought it in for the windshield cowl fix. Fixed the glove box and seatbelt rattle. So far only thing major is the smoking turbo.

Yeah I am curious where you got the exact date as well? Kinda weird mine is a month older and I have full catless turbo back exhaust and haven't had any problem with the smoking turbo that people have been describing, most my miles have been just around town....

On my service statement from the dealer (for the pulley tensioner) it had the exact date on it.

04/2008 with 10,300 miles

Car was having some misfire issues that caused a CEL shortly after I purchased it with 37 miles on the odometer, but I haven't experienced any problems since getting it serviced.

I experience the cowl noise, but I need to take it in to get a fix that most likely will not work.

Driving habits:

I push the car on a pretty regular basis in 2nd and 3rd gear via on and off ramps. I've also autocrossed a few times and plan on attending some track days. My commute to my office is about 5.5 miles and involves several stop lights, but it is not like city traffic. Most of my miles are highway, for leisure and on-site work.
