I know, but if you don't have money like that, nor the need for it (track), thats the only visible difference, is the sticker.

If you've ever owned a real Volk, Work, etc.. wheel then you would be able to see the difference in the lip (polish versus anodized or machined) and the paint (much thicker). For the 2 / 3 piece wheels, you're able to fully customize the spoke and lip design, also.

Even if you don't have the $$$ to drop on wheels, there are plenty of good wheels made by Buddy Club, OZ, etc.. don't cost more than $130-200/wheel.

whew... well, i think rims are a very personal/stylistic choice. gotta go with what appeals to you the most. i think 16s or 17s are perfect size for a protege. nice thing about having a silver car is that you can get away with a lot of different wheel colors. as far as those enkeis you referred to... i think they look pretty damn clean!

first things first

suspension drop. you'll be surprised how nice it'll look on stock wheels. than you can think of wheels.

being flush is key

I'd stay away rom something with a dish....to me those only belong on higher end RWD cars. That said...what are your plans for the car? Are you dropping? Performance mods? Just doing rims and calling it good? IMO Rims should reflect the car's "personality" so it might help to say what type of look you're going for.

Yeah I plan to drop a little very soon then rims are next on the list.
I think those enkei's will suit the sporty look i'm going for, along with having a car that looks a little different.
Don't think there's much point going for performance with these cars unless i turbo it, just an exhaust for a nice tone.

The only other things I want to do to the car are, get rid of the side moldings and maybe a HD lip.

Well of course, but if you have a certain design you want, its becomes really hard to find that exact design in volk, work, etc, used.
