Universal Shift Knobs

Well, that choice is a purely personal matter, but I grew up with Momo, Nardi and Personal and can vouch for their quality and durability. Stay away from Razo. Also, there was a thread about this sometime back. Do a search and you'll see some nice ones there. The Greddy knob seemed to be a favorite.

The Greddy IS a nice shift knob, but because the company is so synonymous with their turbocharger kits, I can't bring myself to install one unless my engine was blown.

The only problem I foresee is not having an adapter small enough to be able to thread the shift knob on.

*Talks to self* Oh gosh, should I say something, might be opening a can of worms here... (gossip)

I'm trying to figure out why the driver would want a shifter with such a long throw, especially on a Miata. The shifting action is one of the highlights of the car.

Thanks, guys, these look awesome! Is there a difference between knobs for manual tranny and for automatic? Mine is automatic, and yes, it is just for the show and the occasional use of manual mode. :)

Which ones are the ones that look awesome? ;)

The thread is a little bit different, here is from the site:

The AutoEXE Carbon Fiber knob is available in natural carbon fiber or silver weave. The knob for MTX comes in a M10x1.25 thread pitch and the AT knob comes with a M8x1.25 thread pitch.

I always go for a clean and subtle look, so the single-color ones will work for me, like the carbon fiber silver knob in the pic you posted. But for $100, I would probably get the HID lights instead. :)
