Car is looking good...I was talking to a group of guys actually about your car today cause they liked my P5 and were talking about the ones they had in Australia...it was a group of 20 high school basketball players that are in the US for 2 months training...

Good to hear I'm loved :p

only difference is that we got the 1.8L in both the hatch & sedan, and they ran the 4stud wheels, whereas only the SP20's ran the 5stud rims & 2.0L FS motor, and the obvious better looking interior & exterior :D

For once im liking driving my car, its quiet as with the twin loop muffler & having no suspension creaks, which reminds me I should update my car worklog ;)

I did not know that...they said they see a lot of the P5's over there...it was weird hearing them call things different names and I guess you guys don't use ice, cause they all but two ordered drinks without it...

pole messed this one up

and the yellow sign, and the dumpster, and the.....lol. Good try though. Suggestion: tilt camera sideways, aim straight at the car and have the top cut off point just above the building doorway. Leave the poles out of the frame.

Thread is, "Post your best pictures." (hahaspit) Nice car but go back and redo.

That goes for a lot of the photos in this thread. C'mon guys..take your time in picking your shots. No matter what camera, work on that composition, pay attention to your backgrounds and surroundings around the subject, no neck breaking angles and use a tripod or a sturdy object if you're shooting low light.

Here's a good low-down on taking car pictures from NASIOC forums

Read it!

Wow,,I wanted that all there,,thought it helped with the warehouse look. But Im definately not good at pix,,i pic a backdrop,,steady and shoot, sometimes i crop, and thats about it.

any critiquing on my pic?
The background isn't doing you any favors. It's ugly, but not "industrial" enough to be ugly in a good way. Too many crossing/intersecting lines behind the car distract from the main subject of the photo. Given that your car is relatively low contrast, IMO you want a simpler backdrop that contrasts in value to the car. Also consider finding a background that complements the car tonally. Something in the warm neutral range perhaps. Background aside, the lighting seems appropriate in that nothing is over-exposed and you get plenty of detail in the dark areas (wheels for example.) I actually think the pavement in the foreground has nice texture that complements the smoothness of the paint.
