Pretty sure which way I'm going just want to see what the opinions are.
Eibach Prokit/Koni Sport Yellows or Mazdaspeed coilovers. Thanks for participating...

I've had the Mazdaspeed coilovers for a few months now and I'm glad I did this mod. The car handles much better for a DD and for weekend track use. The car looks great lowered. The coilovers are set on the recommended setting and its not harsh at all. Other than the high cost, the only negative is that it's a little bouncy over short bumps, other than that it's perfect. At the track they made a big difference. I'm faster, I have more control, quicker on the turn-in and more stable on the long fast turns. Before I had them installed the car would dip too much on the turns and felt very unstable on the long fast turns. With the addition of the coilovers, I now have a good balance of mods.

Sunlight Silver MS3, Mazdaspeed CAI, Mazdaspeed CBE, Mazdaspeed coilovers, TWM short shifter and bushings, SU rear engine mount, Hotchkins RS, Cobb shifter weight, Cobb turbo intake, Goodridge stainless steel brake lines, Motul RBF600 brake fluid, Hawk plus pads (track only), RE-01's (track only), Dashhawk, Fuel-Filler door.

If you've got the money, the coilovers will be a much better setup. Higher quality (not that the koni parts are poorly made-they're great), better handling, more adjustability.

Coilovers in my opinion is the way to go. I just replaced my Eibach prokits with H&R coils and love it so far. That being said I would go with your option of the mazdaspeed coils.

If you plan to track your car at all go with the coilovers..maybe consider some BC's for more adj. even...if you simply want a good ride with some ability to adj. dampening then do the spring/strut combo...my eibach pro kit is almost perfect for me...I would love to have a tiny bit more drop in the front tho for looks. Being able to adj. to your likeing is worth every penny!

Thanks for the replies everyone, I get a discount on "mazdaspeed motorsports development" site so my pricing on these Mazdaspeed coils will be pretty good, also will be adding rear camber links...

Is it possible to run MS coilovers at stock height? I can't go any lower than stock due to the angle of my driveway.

depends, if you're gonna track the car then get the coilovers
if it is just a DD, the koni/eibach is the way to go, unless you are the
type of person who adjusts suspension all the time.

i'm to lazy to do that, so springs/konis are perfect for me.

Only problem with the springs/struts combo is that it is hella expensive!

Coilovers are pricey too... but you get adjustment and other s***... hah. I'm such a suspension n00b.

roughly 700 for springs/shocks
or 1500 for mazdaspeed coilovers

so maybe 1/2 or a little more than 1/2 the price
