I would recommend those 2 screws in the area you are talking about as well as a another 2 in the center and a couple on each side near the fog light and then on the very edge.

i put one screw on each end of it since it wasnt holding that well either there. i didnt want to drill a bunch of holes into my bumper even though its on the bottom and not visable. well i have to redo the lip anyway becasue i pulled into a driveway today and ripped off and the tape jsut gave so ill just go full force and put screws in where needed

Think the new shape of the lower bumper will prevent me from doing this? There is already a little lip there

it pretty flexible. just go for it.

its funny how this stuff goes around the internet world. While I haven't done this to my ms6 yet, I did it to my previous car:

I said it before and I'll say it again.... that cooper was off the hook!! It's where I got the idea for my user title... lol. I was thinking about doing this mod, but no point as it's winter, I heard they fall off at this time anyway...

thanks, lol... I ran my through winter, even plowed some snow with it...never fell off, but i had the self tapping screws too, with tape.

Just lost my hd lip last night.. I was coming through a parking lot and the snow ***** the front end of my car.. The lip was just hanging there.. We got about 18-20" of snow though where I live..

It is designed to be used on the bottom of a garage door to form a weatherproof seal, so it is made to face the elements. With that said, the material will outlast your car. How long it will stay on the car depends on how well you install it and your driving habits.
