how low do i go

Hello I tried searching with out any luck. So Im looking to lower my car this winter. I want a good smooth ride well as good as I can get. For I do a lot of driving and the roads in Ohio suck, but also what it to look slammed. So what is the best set up for that beside coilovers. Any input or pic and links are welcome.

I'd take a look at H&Rs if you want a good low drop and a nice set of springs.

Here's mine with them:

Steve trade you my MS6 for your's? haha...j/k

To OP, I wouldn't go lower than a 12oz can. Even at that i think its very low.

The drop on Steve's car is actually very nice. Drops it enough to not have a big gap in the wheel well.

just my .02 though.

Ibach makes both a "Pro-Kit" for our cars and a "Sport-line" set of springs. One, the sport-lines, lower the car a bit more than the pros. I think the difference is between 1.2'' drop and 2''

Let me clarify, there is NOT a set of Eibach's designed for the MS6. They are V6 Mz6 springs, and their spring rates are not higher to accommodate the extra weight and retuned suspension of the MS6.

If you're looking at springs, you've got:

H&R, RPM Street, RPM Sport, and AutoExe.

sorry i ment sportline- and i dont have a speed six just a 6i and i thought you needed shocks for a better ride. and so that you dont blow the stock ones

Oh, that changes things then. You can go with a lot of different options. If you're doing Eibach, I'd stick with the Pro-kit, not the Sportlines. For daily driving, the Sportlines are going to be really low.

You can change springs, but I wouldn't jump on changing shocks out unless you start to feel the car bouncing too much for your liking.
