Replace Broken Stems

Not sure if there's a thread for this (and I did use the "search") but can someone tell me how to replace the stems? I was replacing a flat and I broke 2 stems (rant) on the same side as one I broke last summer. Now I'm sporting a 2-lug look that supposed to a 5-lug (lol2)

Any help would be great :)

you mean wheel studs, and basically you'll need a punch and a hammer to knock em out, or better yet a press... then I believe you can use a nut and washer pack to pull the new ones into place.

a piece of metal that you can use to put on the broken stud and smack with a hammer. in a pinch, a screwdriver you don't mind tossing when you're done will work, but a punch isn't expensive...

I'll grab one tomorrow...because I'm also going to have to get the broken studs out of the lug nuts.

Ah that'll do it. That's ridiculous, lol.

Hey, I took care of my baby for the most part.

you dont really punch if the studs are still showing, ie not broken at the hub. you can just hit the broken studs with a hammer.

I would not recommend driving on two studs only.

I've got 19 19mm ones that will be coming off soon... if you can make use of them they're yours. they're what came on my car, but idk if thats stock lol
