I never was a big fan of the 2G Protege's but the more I see them with these kinds of kits, I am actually loving them.

Looks like a 99-00 Subie 2.5RS and therefore looks awesome! Great work on the 2d Gen nomad!

thanks for the compliments...yeah, i did hear it looked like a subby, even a gtx gen 1 looked like an evo3. anyway, main difference are non-extended bumpers (we call the US bumpers as extended...they are longer than JDMs) with actual mazdaspeed kit consisting of the chin, side/rear skirts, grille plus others. the paint is a custom color with thinge of violet on blue.

Its functional on a diesel, but its also a part of MS body kits.

yes, indeed. this is a complete JDM hood with hood scoop i got from a turbo diesel with a top mounted ic, so it is functional.

holyshit, I looked at this when u 1st posted it, I thought it was a Suby. Then everyone started talking a how good this 2nd gen looked and I was thinking to myself where the **** is this 2nd gen at I went back 2 or 3 pages looking for it....lol. Then today I finally noticed. nice job

Not from ebay...these are the seats I got while looking through a recent shipment from Japan, with it came a loosely fit mazdaspeed badge (thin aluminum, around 2" x 1") -- though I cannot validate if it's a badge for the seats or from other MS item that came with the seats.

Nearest match I found over the web is seats badged as MazdaSpeed seats for Miatas. I'll try to look for those pics.

But whatever this seat pair is, I just love it. And it has been rep-upholstered (original fabric is blue and gray) along with the entire interior, complete with MS emboidery.

Car looks nice, but I'm sorry to say that "MS" logo is not an official Mazda branding for Mazdaspeed. The "knock off" makers who are usually associated with eBay, created that logo because they can not use the true Mazdaspeed logo for copyright reasons.

yeah, uh, my balls aren't that big, so I rode with a freewheel and a front brake. still managed to put my shoulder through the front wheel once...

edit: not sure if you were talkin to me now... where'd you see my 3rd brake, or were you talkin to someone else? LOL

my 3rd brake light is LEDs installed in the stock taillight delete panel (where the large, ugly 3rd brake light would normally go)... basically just drilled em out and pushed the LEDs into the holes. wired it up, and hot glued the whole thing in place. I need to redo it at some point, as one of the leads broke and 4 bulbs are no longer lit. Also want to sand the ends off the LEDs for a better light pattern.

yeah. I don't have a 3rd brake light anymore. I cleaned up the 03.5 spoiler and made it flat with no lights.

You got balls, that's all I'm saying. I rode my bro's fixed gear and nearly broke my neck. Not that I couldn't do it I just wasn't used to stopping by moving my feet slower.

I think he means like Mazdaspeed2oo3.5's got. The rear fog light.

Ask member Mazdaspeed2oo3.5 on here. He lives in Spain now where you legally have to put that on there.

I personally love the way it looks on the sedans and might do it myself for s****-n-giggles.
