NEMOC Random BS Thread

Thanks! Judging from the tool list, it appears to be a bit more complicated than on the P5. Do I really need to bleed the brakes also?

Me too. Framingham area again? John Harvards? BBC? Acapulcos?

I wouldn't say you have to bleed the brakes, because taking off the caliper is not really needed. But if you do it that way, then yes, bleed is definitely necessary.

Or Eaglebrook? I'm open to anywhere.
If it's later in the day (7ish), I can go further south, Eaglebrook. I can do a little earlier, like 6, if it's closer to the pike. But kinda flexible anyway, throw those suggestions out.

Second snow... kinda first decentish accumulation on the P5... bad cell phone pics:

I thought it was just pads and rotors? Chris, are we swapping calipers?

I'd rather do earlier, I'm going to be twiddling my thumbs as it is at 5pm.

Just pads and rotors. I'm assuming the calipers have to come off but I don't necessarily have to disconnect the brake lines. How often should I bleed the brakes? I'm at 49k now.

I'm game for eaglebrook too if that works for everyone else.

i need new brake pads for my truck.....the 3 options I am considering (no real reason why I couldnt consider others though....) are hawk ceramics, EBC greenstuff (Green Supreme for front), or just replacement motorcrafts.....Stopping power is definitely most important....with less brake dust being a distant second..

any thoughts?

I had the EBCs on my msp and thought they were awesome but I changed the rotors at the same time as the pads so I dont know how much awesome was the pads and how much was the rotors.....also I had dark wheels so I dont know much about how much brake dust they had compared to stock pads.
