Aggressive fitment anyone?!

I plan to run a 235/40 on an 8 inch wide wheel on my next setup. gonna be bout 45-50 offset

+20? u sure thats not going to stick out?

with the setup i'm going for it'll look like that integra i posted earlier.

Justin what is your current offset?

i think its +35 or something close, with spacers

current setup is:

16x7:
F: +19 (with spacers)
R: +35 (with spacers)

I'm at +45 and I think it's plenty and running a 7.5 rim. But I run a 225/45 tire for grip. I love wider rims and tucking the tire but can that be done without a tiny tire? How can one run a 8 inch rim with atleast a 215/45/40?

i'll be running an 8" wide wheel with 205/40...i want a little bit of stretch so that i can poke the wheel.

OMG, I need my fronts like that!
im at 25mm on 16x7 all around, and the front looks way tucked in compared to the rear.

are your front fenders rolled?

Along with the slightly bigger tire, I'm now playing around with the idea of spacers and massaged fenders. Along with the slight negative camber, I think I can do it. (kiss)

I am hoping for an aggressive setup soon! picked up 17x8 Privat wheels today...trying to figure out a tire size to get and go from there. my bro giving me two 225/45/17's for free so we will see how that looks tomo.

Will do...Like I said we are putting on 225/45/17's on it this afternoon. I realized that 235/45/17's came on two of the wheels that look good. So I may throw those in the rear and the 225's up front for now and see how that works out. Yesterday I put the 245's on and it was def overkill when it came to flushness. lol. But like I said we are just test fitting these 225's to see how they look and ride.

If anyone has any recommendations or what they run with their setup, please lmk. Thanks!

I noticed "makemegofast" is running a 17X8 w/ a 45 offset, unfortunately these are a 48 offset. I've been doing searches on the forums and can't seem to find anyone who has ran a 17X8 w/ 48 offset.

fenders were pulled after this pic I think, also he is running coil-sleeves with 500-600 lbs springs....lol.

Hey guys, figured I'd clear up some confusion about my car (the silver MSP w/ black Enkeis).

-17x8 +45 offset with 235/40/17 tires for the track
- -1* rear camber
- 215/45/17s fit fine on the street
-Springs are standard rate Eibachs from Ground Control. F:350# R:250#
-Fenders have not been pulled or rolled. I simply trimmed off the lip with a cutoff wheel.
-You can run a 17x8 +48 wheel with a 215 and probably a 225. Once you get larger than 225, the tire may hit the rear strut. Front clearance should be fine.
-A 235/45/17 is too tall of a tire. If you want to get the car low and on 235/40s on the street, you'll need 350# or stiffer rear springs and adjustable lower control arms to dial in negative camber.

Both MR2's pictured with my car are stock fendered, but the blue one has a body kit :)

I will snag some more pictures soon of the 17x8s back on the car with my street 215 tires. Here's what I've been doing with it lately: http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123756234

I will be adding 225/35/17's on my 17x8 +48 offset this coming Saturday. I was apprehensive in case I get coilovers soon, but I will figure it out when that time comes. My car has come a long way so I do not need to spend tons of money on it in comparison when I wanted to boost it. Then I can save and actually get parts when they pop on here again.

i found the info.....anyone think a 16x8.5 with a +37 would fit? or would any 8.5 wheels fit maybe a 17x8.5 with a +50 or is that not going to work either?
