What have you done to your P5 today?

Next step is projector retro

then you'll be saying "It's unsafe driving around with HID's in the reflector housings these days."

Maybe if I find some other lights to cut up, I wanna keep my stockers for a while, they are still in good shape. Plus I can't afford projectors too, I'm just getting the DDM 35watt kit 6000k most likely. Should get them soon, if not then at christmas when I have some extra money to spend.

FEDEX just dropped off my endlinks for the MSP rear sway bar, hopefully putting it on today. Excited to see how it handles on a stock suspension (only have rear strut bar currently) .

I installed my progress sway bar...it took all of a half hour...thanks Maxx Mazda for the great how to. Now i have to find someone to cut my threaded rod to make the endlinks...sorry for the bad phone pic, when my camera charges, i will get a better pic up.

It certainly makes one hell of a difference! Its one of my favorite mods and probably yours as well! Hit those twisties! :D

installed the MSP rear sway bar, pain in the ass to get those endlinks off. The car handles great. Very good upgrade! So do I need the MSP front ?

k , lol thats a HELL NO . I think Tokico Blues and a small drop will be the next suspension, although I like 4x4 mode = cuz of Dirt road fun , speed bumps and everything else u dont have to worry about when ur stock height.

I'd recommend the MSP suspension then (the full strut/spring assembly). I have it and it's a noticeable drop while adding some good horizontal stiffness.

I got a full setup locally for $250.

Also, I just put my P5 wheels up on Ebay since I haven't had any luck selling them locally.

Getting ready for tomorrow, going to take some pics and post up a FS thread. Just clearing out some extra stuff.

My damn car ate another headlight today! So I bent the little wire/tab that holds it in the housing and it seems to be tighter now.... We'll see how long that lasts!

My driver side headlight went out. I'm getting HID's. :)

Mine is out too, but after driving for a few miles I'll hit a bump and it'll pop on...

haha

Or if he wants to source his own shocks/struts, I've got a good set of MSP springs that need a new home. Had them on ebay for $50 +$20 shipping, no sale, make me an offer if interested, I probably won't turn it down...

Since my car is so low I have my endlinks all the way shortened damn near. Should I drop the sway bar under the lower control arm and extend the endlinks? It hits and rattles sometimes

Put on the snow tires today. Would have normally waited another week or two, but it was below freezing last night and my summer tires are in pretty poor shape.

SO today I felt the need to drive to work at around 8 ish im my lovely p5.... drove to work car ran great...

got to work... parked it in an install bay.. and went inside.... later came out to my lil p5 to start it and have a no oil light... after freaking out.. i realized maybe ill check the oil, maybe its this and that... in teh end i just said screw it adn drained the oil and dropped my awr pan.... checked the bottom of the pan for any crap taht might be showing sever wear or anything like that... and to my discovery.. when my turbo went out on me... my engine ate the bearings.. idk where they are they arent in the pan so im assuming taht tehy are stuck in my oil pump which is now not working...

but wait it gets better..... NO AUTO PARTS have an oil pump... checked orileys, kragens, autozone, advanced auto parts, car quest, ebay..... i would love to go through protege garage.. but i have experienced some HUGE delays in shipping of items before... so being that im in a hurry and dont have 3 months to wait for an oil pump... so YES im looking for one no this isnt an ad to buy stuff.. lol

any ideas where else the bearings might have gone? lol... im about to just replace the entire engine

English Motherf&^ker do you speak it?.

ok... in english... drove to work.... car ran fine... got to work... car was still running fine... went to move the car.. no oil pressure.... after more digging around in my engine... i figured out that either the oil pump just took a s*** and that caused my car to have have a blown head gasket.. but you would think that a blown head gasket would show some sort of a mechanical faulure approaching.. ?
