looks like a "pre-facelift" euro version with the sedan bumper. Get the trim piece for the top of the grill. Header would be the hp mod they were mentioning. Caps are scary!!! And that muffler looks very familiar...........

as for the grill, im looking for n aftermarket one...... I just got to find a good deal on one........

Why are you using one of those gay ass ricer filters rather than just running the hose from the valve cover to the intake? You have what appears to be the totally stock intake from the MAF back, just hook up the hose and stop venting right to the atmosphere.

i dont think its a ricer filter.... We used them all the time in our rally car back in the day.....

Well i dont like the flashy chrome pipe that is used from the maf back, and it really does nothing.... Its all looks.... So i see your point of view point less.....

yea thats the BC2 kit front bumper and do not buy that
its alot lower then the stock bumper, which will look retarded with the stock sideskirts and the stock bumper

looks like ur heading in the wrong direction so far with the custom muffler, cut springs, and purple valve cover

actually the valve cover and exhast are alright. the intake is a nono and body wise its up to him. just becuz he doesnt want to follow the pro5 fad these forums have doesnt mean is car looks bad. there are a few kitted cars on here that look pretty damn good.

btw pretty sure he was talking about the flashing his ecu to an mp3 via spicy

there is diffrent terms for the (flashed) ecu..... And if youve never heard chipped ecu oh well.....

And the purple valve cover is gonna get powder coated red.... I jus didnt want to touch the original one.........

when i go to a car meet for a specific make and model and EVERYONE'S car looks the same....its a fad. granted, its a damn good looking one but still just a bunch of copycats. then when one guy wants to branch out they call it rice. maybe i should go to take off my castlevania bumper sticker because its rice and makes the car look like ass *rolls eyes*

no let me further explain, there is no such thing as a chipped mazda protege 5 ecu, thats why i was asking
yes i have a muffler, thats connected to a CBE. i bought it for power, u bought that muffler for sound
the cut springs, eh if u dont have money to do it right then i guess thats ok
the valve cover, ill let u off on that one, since mine is a crazy color too

im just trying to point u in the right direction, no flaming or anything like that
If you dont have money to do it right, dont do it because trust me, you will regret it big time, (from personal experience)

the filter offers little to no protection against dirt or particles. your MAF may get grimy and malfunction sooner because of that. also your MAF is just hanging there. it might bang onto something and cause the MAF to mess up. the MAF is very sensitive. Honestly though, the intake isnt needed on these cars unless you just want noise or to show off.

yea the filter is too close to the MAF, which can cause turbulence in the air and u may not get the correct reading from it
buy a K&N, they are great
actually, around christmas im putting all my turbo stuff on so i wont be needing my injen intake anymore
ill sell it to you for cheap if u want it
