Bro those pistons run for 710, $ 950, according to my friend who is doing my car these are one of the best pistons out there for Hi Performance, they actually going to send them to this place where they do some other coatings for higher boost, friction and temperature resistance, something like Swain Tech coating..

no more Arias, CP or Wiseco Lets see how these bad boys do on my next build..

After installing the AWR Oil Pan, now i can't put back my High Flow Cat or my GTspec Lower Tie Bar, but when inspection times comes on 2010 we are cutting and rewelding the Oil Pan to make both fit, we already did the measurements and the design of how it needs to be in order to run the High Flow cat and lower Tie Bar

Well since today is my day off do to being my 31st Birthday i decided to change the huge ugly front license plate and frame for this Alfa Romeo Style one without frame, looks cleaner, nicer and let more air to cool the FMIC. let me know what ya think..

hahaha,, how come ? what do you have in mind, any pictures ???? if you ask me these wheels are the best looking wheels for these cars... Ive seen so many protege with aftermarket wheels, racing, lightweight but the RX-8 wheels simply makes the car looks so sick...never oem wheels looked so good in a car before.

I'm going less for look, more for function. Assuming all goes smoothly, picking up a set of FD 16x8's tomorrow.

Hopefully next summer I'll have em all polished out, the stock color isn't flattering.

like I said, different goals. they come with a nice set of tires for a reasonable price and will make GREAT autoX wheels (light and wide) when I hopefully start running next year. Theres an event this sunday, but my car is already classed way above my driving skill, and the cars that run in that class would own me even if i WAS a more experienced driver.

no, I'll likely still get my ass handed to me in DSP, theres a speed3 locally that usually comes in 3rd of 4, a civic usually wins, and he usually shuffles around with 2 Beretta GTZ's.. the b**** of it is my clutch puts me in DSP, and short of MAJOR (race minded) modifications, I can do basically anything I want to my car without bumping me up in class. I just want it to be my fault I have bad lap times.. not the car's. lol These tires alone will probably shave a couple seconds over the all-seasons I'm currently running.

Once you get some seat time you should be able to compete well against the speed3 in AutoX, the honda's kind of get help in AutoX cause they have no tq so they get traction lol.

Im in SM and i think my best finish was 4th to last haha, but i barely had any seat time and my class is filled with evo's and STi's

if the speed3 wasn't a seasoned driver, I'd have a chance... however I do not. his full set of sways and coilovers doesn't help either. lol
