my protege 5 project

how much did u want for the hood? and what else do u have left? i need oem catback, maybe stock wheels if you have em.

Are you returning completely to stock...I have a few spare Speed3 exhausts sitting around...they sound oh so good on the P5...

before after after car looks soo nice today. oh and the last pic is rick hendrick's new sl65 black edition. im a mercedes tech and that car is sik!!! detuned to a little under 700 hp cause the transmission cant handle the 1000 hp the the engine can bring. Oh btw this car a luxury car and has all the creature comforts the a 1000hp civic or supra prolly doesnt have. i was walking back from lunch and some it come off truck to be delivered to the man himself.

That is a really nice looking P5, I like that you took the roof rack completely off, I need to do that to mine.

Do you mean the axleback? Is it a perfect fit?

Nope...lol...not a single bit...MS3 exits out the left hand side while ours comes out the right...you pretty much have to cut every single piece of piping off in order to use the actual muffler itself as well as the tip which comes off at an angle and needs to be redone...well worth it though...I just had fun collecting the exhausts since people pay outrageous ammounts for them...sounds awesome though...at one point I had 5 plus mine...now down to 3...I am thinking of doing a dual setup on the P5, but still not sure...

Also...CFP...you have the roof rack still...

That sounds interesting, so did you just use the muffler from the MS3 on the existing P5 exhaust?

Can you post some pics, I wanna see this. Sounds clips too if you have them. (yes)

I love seeing work like this from coal to a diamond. Be proud..thats a great looking car. I think the hoodpins hurt the look of the hood, but they are there for a reason.

thanks guys!!1 but please remember i didnt buy this hood or install the hoodpins....the idiot that had the car before me did. i just had to make due with this hood due to funds. also i had to install new hood pins cause he fuked the hood up with the old hood pins so i had to do something...2 large holes in the front of the hood would be an eyesore. oh btw the tailights wernt my idea either .(second)
