Rims are spray painted black..how to remove?

i used duplicolor wheel paint and duplicolor clear coat. and some other brand of primer... don't remember. it's been less than six months since i painted them, but i've been very happy with the finish. no flaking or chipping yet, but it's really too soon to comment on durability.

mine were painted with the same... don't know if they were primed... and they've been done for over a year... still in nice shape.

well, you didn't include the "of progress" part. for all i know you were asking for pics of his neighbor's donkey. i hear it's one sexy donkey....

u honestly dont have to use primer at all...
and sand with 400 or higher grit before spraying, 100 is was too coarse and will leave sanding marks

Post em! I just finished removing the paint from drivers side wheels...such a pain when the wheels are still on the car.(thumb) I'll post pictures tomorrow

looking better already! just be sure to at least lightly sand the areas of the rim that were not previously painted so that the new paint sticks.

its so played out, do silver or graphite like, its yellow and wagon
i did caramel on my stocker's while i was getting new tires on my 17"s and it looked ok

I'm liking your graphite rims, like you said, it's different.

oh yeah! of course, i'll do that when the rims are off the car. Yeah I'm digging it better so far....freaking tired as hell..haven't sanded since Jr. High. lol

It's mainly stock except for aftermarket exhaust and a cheap plastic intake ( going to replace with a fujita)

btw, my Mazda is actually a regular ol' 3 2.4..hope you guys don't mind me posting in the speed forum
