yeah, but its a dying platform. cast off in the shadow of the MS3 now...

I love my car to death, but I'll openly admit, its really quite far from an ideal platform. if there was a more stout inline 4, that bolted in, I'd be a lot more excited about it. Not all of us can throw 50K at a build. lol

Totally agree with ya, but also not everybody can buy or qualify to get a loan to buy a better engineered car that runs for around 40-45k like the Stis o evos. I rather to trow money on something cheaper and make it better than that expensive stock all around platform.

As would I I prefer the build to be my own (we've had this convo)... but if it had a more stout block, I'd enjoy it more. my build plans would probably be more extensive as well.

I love the MSPs bro. they are so nice and unique. dont matter if they are fast, slow, dropped etc just the car itself it damn awesome sad Mazda didnt engineered them better and fixed the weak spots instead of stop producing them.

If we had been given a motor that doesn't require 20 grand to add 50hp N/A, then maybe the MSP would be more of a player.

actually pulling 195 outa these motors is as simple as the MP3 ECU, JDM intake cam, and swapping the intake cam 180* and using it as exhaust.. notch the timing gear so you can tweak the timing a bit... this is per a local shop that has a dyno sheet on a car they did exactly this with.

I just can't believe that 195 can be had for that little bit of money. If I wasn't auto or going turbo, I'd take you up on the offer for sure.

what that your hitler list hahahahaha lol j/k i seen you car click you s*** is fast. may be one day for me

Quick update of some work i've done today to the engine, Enjoy the pictures

Did you re-balance the pistons afterward?

Nah bro, what PM ?

Oh. :(

I guess ill ask here if u dont mind. I was asking about the oil pressure sender u had hooked up on ur old block. Did u have any issues having it off the block like that? I heard that the car vibrates and its not good for the fittings. Also, did u use all brass fittings for it? I want to install my oil pressure guage and read that i should mount the pressure sender on the firewall and use SS braided line. Thanks in advance bro.
