New Moderator...

Hey everyone, I just wanted to drop in and say hello. I am a new Moderator for the 5 section. I know some of you and hope to get to know the rest. I have a 2007 Mazda5 touring. I have done some pretty cool mods to the car so far and have quite a list growing of what to do next Anyway, I am here to help in anyway possible. Let me know what I can do and I will make sure we all stay on topic and enjoy the community together!

With more than 5K posts (all Mazda?) you are no Noob (like me) and I will send you plenty of questions. 1.) what the heck are the row of 4 blank switches for on the dash to the left of the steering wheel on my 07' GT? Does everyone have them? Are they functional for any market? (sorry, thats three questions. Are you up for them? Damn, now that's four)

LOL... everyone has them yes, in every Mazda built within my purchasing time, since 04. I beleive there are several accesories you can buy that those plates can be traded out for switche. Also, you dont have TC on an 07 Mzd5 so you dont have a switch there to turn it off either.

Do you mean you don't have those on the Tourings and Grand Tourings, just the Sports have them?

Correct, in some markets where extra features are available they are for the T/C on/off and the power doors (L/R). The attached thumbnail is from a Premacy (Japan)

The 4th would be for the Xenon Lights leveling if equipped with it (Grand Touring has that in the US for example)
