Put the new alt in it in just over an hour! The battery I had charging all night didnt hold a charge so it was shot. Jumped the car off and ran around the block a few times hoping that the battery charger was just crap.. well i turned on the ac and blipped the throttle and it died. Luckly I was infront of a friends house. Jumped it again and off I went upto autozone to get my core charge back!
Well needless to say the turn signals were a no no! The car wanted to die going down the road and the speedo went nuts. Turned the blinker off and I was fine. What was werid is that the brake lights didnt affect the car as all. Get upto autozone, back into a spot and for the hell of it tried to start the car... didn't even get a click like a dead battery! Oh well, I got the hook up on a new/used bat that was tested and its good. I'm up and running again but not for to long. What's that smell... ******* gear oil so back in the shop it goes... lol Oh well at least the trans shifted good upto the trans shop..
On a side note I didnt even get to put 40 miles on the car tell it was back in the shop! So now roughly 3.2k(between the warrenty co and myself) later and I still am having issues. lol Oh well less s*** I have to worry about now! new trans x3, new master and slave clutch clyinders, alt, and new/used battery all within the past month. The sad thing about it is... is that I only got to put maybe 250-300 on the car tops within between the car coming and going out of the shop!
