The Progression of my V.1 Street Sleeper Turbo build

what would it cost to make another one on those?

Hehehe. I told the guy who built it there would be a market for these and he said that this would be the only one. :D

That said, this was $900 with materials, shipping (for the turbo flange and flex pipe from Vibrant) and time.

What are you going to do for the rest of the exhaust? I vote side dump. Or hell, I'll sell you my GHL exhaust and I can get a side dump :D

Just to keep this thread updated...

Trunk cage is in.

Very nice setup man. Do you have a restrictor in your oil feed? It seems like it's too much? Any oil burning problems?

You should really support that heavy DP to the engine block with a bracket, something will crack down the line.

Yes there is a restrictor in place.
I was thinking about what you said regarding the DP. I've got the corksport hangers so there is very little movement but yes, it should have more support.

Got the car ready for 1/4 mile drags next weekend. Pulled out the negative camber, got the toe adjusted, pumped some air in the drag radials and slapped on the sponsors vinyl. Good to go! :D

Blew out my clutch yesterday at an auto-x. I've got a SPEC Stage III+ ordered now. If I get the 3.5 years of thrashing out of it that I did with the Stage II+, I'll be happy.

Sure glad my auto club membership is all paid up! 150 km trip home on a wrecker last night!

After reading posts by others and listening to the video I'm beginning to think it may be my LSD that let go.
All will be revealed when the new clutch arrives and the car goes on the hoist. Fortunately I have a rebuilt tranny with a new (latest version) welded MSP LSD in it sitting in my garage. :D

Here is the video of it letting go...

Annual 1/4 mile drags this weekend here. Will I break into the twelves? Will the forecasted rain hold off? Will my tranny hold together?

Stay tuned...
