I just scored the latest Map disc with part # GP9A-66-DZOD. This one retails for $275 at onlinemazdaparts and $342.75 at your trusted dealer but I was able to get it on eBay for $65 shipped. Apparently, there is a more updated one with what I have which is the DZOC.

The DZOD is 2008 and has more POIs and more features like you can plot a destination with GPS coordinates (Longitude and Latitude), and the addresses which were missing before is now turned on plus you have access with trip info like current speed and average speed which can be useful if you get stopped for speeding. With that info, you can prove that you're cruising 45mph, not 50mph like what the cop can tell you.

Anyways, here's the pic of the disc. I'll take more pics of the screenshots since I just uploaded it.

That's cool, but where are you getting these newer discs. I haven't been able to find any that are as new as the ones you have.

on eBay....I got the last one tho...all others you'll find are the ones like yours

I've found this version on usenet, not sure how it'll fit on a regular DVD, it's about 6.3 GB, but I'm going to download it and give it a go.

Weird..because if I do a search for listings from the last few weeks of completed auctions there is nothing. Do you have a link to the auction so I can ask the person who had it if they are going to get another one?

You need to burn it to a DL DVD. Let me know how it goes... Are you talking about Usenet news groups? If so, what group? I want to try burning it.

BTW.. that's a 0, not an O in the part number. I see that onlinemazdaparts.com has it for $275.

ISO Version

Where on Usenet can I get an ISO version? I could buzz off at least 5 copies if anyone wants to try before they buy.

FYI.. I bought this D version of the disk a long time ago. I don't need to buy a copy.. People can stop PMing me.

I would like to "try before I buy". I have a new home and haven't found a version that has my neighborhood on it yet. I'll take a PM if someone finds this new version. I haven't been able to find one out there to DL/try.

Nav Disk Revision F

Navigation Disc Revision F is out. www.Mazdanavigation.com is selling them for $199.

Version info is 2008, Version 1. Files on disc are from November 1, 2008.

Got a copy loaded in both my CX-s's

Anything different from E version?

Yeah, I'm now out $200 bucks in net worth.

All the files are dated November 2008, where as the Rev D and E. were pretty much the same file dates, same disc size and even had the same revision 2007, version 1.

No but seriously, I haven't driven anywhere yet but according to Denso they updated a lot of cities (see below) . Not anything near me has been called out, but I am hoping major interchange updated from 2 years ago are corrected.

Mazda USA Came Through

Just for kicks, I called Mazda USA a few days ago about buying a brand new 09 CX-7 and the disc that came with it was 2 years old. I told him that Mazda/Denso are selling 2008 Revision discs for $200 on www.mazdanavigation.com for a product that should have come with my new car. I expected nothing to happen.

The customer support person totally agreed. No questions asked. He asked me how much they were selling them for and I told him $200. He immediately responded, that he would send me a $200 Mazda gift card that I can use at any Mazda dealer for parts, service and that they could order a disc for me using it.

Three days later I received an apology letter outlining my complaint and a $200 gift card!

Now that I bought the disc I have to figure out $200 worth of service that I need all at once within a year (must be used all at once).
