On the rear dampers where does the adjustable knob sit so that you can turn it? Are the extensions a good idea? Do you have to change the car in any way to make them work? SU has them for sale if you would like to take a look. Thanks

To make the extension fit, you have to trim the piece of aluminum/steel/whatever is to secure the extensions on the knobs since they go on top of the knobs. If you can fit your hand in the openings that are provided (access to the jack and right rear tailight) then just adjust the knob from there. Or you can just remove those panels completely. Your choice.

So where do the knobs sit without the extenders? How hard are they to adjust then?

The knobs slightly screw on on top of the shock. And the piece of metal makes it a snug fit to put the extenders on. If you can fit your arm in the openings, not that hard unless your arm is huge.

Man it's a pita for me to reach those nobs. My arms aren't huge, but my hands have a hard time squeezing through.

I bought extenders but haven't installed them yet.

Let us know how the extension install goes. I'd like to hear your opinion.

Sure thing. I was going to have the shop do it as part of some other work due to my laziness, but I may have a go at it.

I just finished the fmic and TIP install. It went smoothly but I can't justify install time with the wife again so soon!

Well I decided to order these the other day. Two days later I get an email from SU saying that these do not fit the Mazda 3 BC coil over kits. I don't understand that when the extenders are said to be universal. Whatever, I guess fine tuning my suspension is just going to have to be hard.(braindead
