1988 Mazda RX-7 GXL
Been checking out the site today, and wanted to say hi to some rotorheads.

I have a white 1987 Rx-7 GXL sometime soon to get a turbo swap.

Trying to lose the kit. Had it for about three months and as you can tell i have a lot of work ahead of me.

What has been done to the car so far? Anything good on the suspension side?

I've been fixing stuff the last owner "let go" for the most part but so far:
it has some cheap adjustable shocks of some sort (needs lowered)
the KN intake adapter
short shifter
it has a full exhaust that i think for the most part is monza, which needs replaced.
s5 tails
s5 side mirrors
some sound matting under the whole carpet (cool i guess?)
Ac removed

besides the exhaust leak she is a pretty solid car.

Plans for it include and are not limited too...
removal of the body kit and getting the body work done and painting it
decent suspension and getting some rims for it.
Going to pick up a turbo engine within the month to fix up while i repair the body.
I wanna go for a sleeper look but keep it nice a clean.

I've got to say I'm glad you're swapping out those rims. The first thing I said when looking at the pictures was "yikes" about the wheels. Everything else looks good though! (at least in pictures)

Looks good, but IMO the tails and mirrors look weird on an S4... TII swap is such a cop-out, go for some N/A power and keep the reliability :p

Yea the Rims are nasty. i wish they were at least not painted black.... oh well gives me the excuse to buy something shiny.

Ive driven N/A for a long time now and i need some boost in my life.
