Just got back from CT...what a crazy few days. Went down Monday...got the vette going...pics and vids up later. Gave it a bath and air out, polished some of the chrome, looks a ton better without the mold...granted it's still in primer. (BTW...Dan said to watch out for the rust...*sigh*)
Yesterday was going to work on Macy but I forgot my other jack, and no one was home (car is too low for the jack my dad has), so I just washed and waxed her. Also washed my mom's car, who was impressed that it was so shiny cuz she washes it and it never looks the same (go Rain-X Car Wash). Also the mother bought me a new pair of cycling shorts so I can stop looking like a raggie when I go cycling.
Late last night my dad was complaining about pain on his right side, so him and my mom went to the ER...at 2am I get a text after my dad had a CAT scan...appendix needs to be removed, so he had surgery at 6am. I guess it was behind the intestines and hanging or something so they couldn't do it the normal way and somethingsomethingsomething I don't understand but it's gonna be awhile for him to recover, especially if there's any complications.
Thankfully I was in CT so I could watch my sister last night when they left, but unfortunately I had to leave early so I could get back to MA for now, so I didn't get to see my dad, plus we had a big family camping trip this weekend that's probably not going to happen (brother flying in from CA and everything). So...if that doesn't happen I may be making an impromptu trip to MD with my roomie so she can update her ID and I can check out her Toronado, and I can stop at my parents on the way back. After Friday I have till Weds off, but I'm broke since rent's due Friday.
Oi vay, sorry for the long-winded post, had to get stuff out, and all the roomies are still asleep.
