Anyone know how to remove the black cover/box that houses the auto rain sensor for the wipers? It wraps around the rearview mirror. Do you just pry it off with your hands? It looks to be two pieces.

It is two pieces. It pops apart, then you just snap it back together when your done. You can probably use your hands, just be careful not hit the sensor piece in the middle. I used a small screwdriver

Removing some window tint. Decided that I really don't like the strip of tint I got. Oh well...$10 mistake.

Does this ENTIRE car just "pop" apart???(shrug)

The thing is supposed to simply "pop" off but I've heard of some ppl breaking the sensor in the process and there goes several hundred bucks down the toilet. So be careful and gentle.

I believe there is a PDF file floating around here on how to install a Homelink mirror in a CX-7 which shows R/R procedures for the rain sensor.
