What have you done to your P5 today?

So you pull on the plastic ebrake handle and the plastic comes off, then you slip this in its place? Does it look like crap without the boot? I want one of these, but they're not cheap and I may add the boot later.

You will want the boot...the size of it without the boot just will not look right...if I can remember, I will try to pull the boot up and show you what I mean...

My axle (drivers side) Fell out last night while i was on my way home from the club.(ill post pics later) Looks like my fender is a little messed and the side skirt too. =( It was a good thing i was the DD last night or my car would still be in Waikiki. lol So today im going to lift the car up and see what happened. Hopefully i just have to plug the axle back in.

Ball joint go bye bye....and becuase mazda sucks and makes their ball joint into the lower a arm you have to buy the whole piece.

Im really hoping that i dont have to replace anything. Im just looking to go in and put the axle back in and be on my merry way. Im still kinda pissed because the tow truck driver went full on with my Auto Exe lip. As you can see i dont have it in the pic...the guy made me take it off.....i just got done repairing it a few weeks ago too....=(

That's not the case at all. Your lower ball joint let go so either the bolt fell out the ball joint slipped out of the knuckle (highly unlikely) or the ball joint broke and your gonna be replacing the lower a arm

Everything that needed to be removed from the P5 before the sale is no removed. Installed the stock seats, plug the O2 bung and she started right up. I swear it idles better without the Split Second AFC but who knows. When I get around to it I'll be taking pictures and posting my last Protege5 F/S thread.

Yeah, what he said. Likely something on the LCA wasn't installed quite right.

Yeah it is sad. If I said I didn't shed a tear or two I'd be lying. It's just time to move onto something else. I can't justify modifying a four door family station wagon anymore. With any luck my fiance' will be picking up a '89 RX-7 GXL this week for me
