Bad sounds coming from the tranny

Maybe a blown throwout bearing. Stop driving the thing and take it to someone who can fix it, if you can't do it yourself. Problems don't repair themselves, it'll likely come back worse and more expensive later.

I've seen alot of crazy s***. I've seen clutch mounting bolts back out and let the clutch PP move around, shaking the hell out of everything. I've seen input shafts candy cane and snap. I've seen clutches explode and shoot bits of themselves through the bellhousing and the floor of the car, dropping the transmisssion right out of the car, etc. etc.

it seriously is like it never happned now. i have done several hudred more miles today just joy riding. it only happned for a few minutes

continue to your peril....

i had something smarter to say... but i erased it...

please do say. im listening. but unless it does it again im not taking the car in. i spent way to much time adding the mods and im not about to take it the the dealer to say "hey it made this sound a week ago it hasnt done it since". and they will say well we cant do nothign for u unless it does it again, or if they do rip it apart and find nothign wrong im s*** out of my money cause i dont have a warranty anymore.. You get what im saying. Throw out bearing is not a simple task. how much would a job like that cost out of pocket? Unless im sure i have a problem, its not worth it for me to bring in.

If you have a good set of tools, a torque wrench, metric sockets and wrenches, and the service manual, you could probably do it yourself. It's just nuts and bolts man! I bet if you could watch the service tech take it apart you would say "s*** I could have done that".

If you're not mechanically inclined, well I guess sucks to be you. Best bet is to use the most powerful tool available, the checking account.

Best of luck to you.

i have everything, do u need some special tools at all to replace it?? i hurd u have to drop the tranny to do it?

If you've got over 12K miles, you can probably forget about getting the clutch replaced under warranty - it's 'a wear item'. Unless your service manager really goes to bat for you...
