And yeah, I mentioned to him about a bypass valve...won't prevent the filter from getting wet, but it'll prevent the MAF from taking in water, however the AEM site recommends against using one with FI...so...uh...nvm.

Outerwears are good to put over the filter too. I have one on mine, and haven't had an issue yet. Before I had one, I did get a cel after a carwash one time. I have the hydro shield too with my mazdaspeed intake.

mmm the R8 was really nice...wish i couldve made it to this but i was passed out from drinking all night..haha i just got up actually hahaha..
i asked him if he was on 247... I think ... he said yes but doesn't post much and I stupidly assumed NEPOC.
