Only card I have that has a fee is my AMEX, but I make back that in rewards. Lowest rate I have is 7.9% but I don't carry a balance on any of them.

I carry a small to zero balance on mine. Carrying a zero balance is good because it shows spending restraint on using it, but also paying on a card that has a bit on it show payment history. It's a balancing act.

Yay for Command Financial Specialist school...

I just use mine for plane tickets, some major travel expenses, things that come up, etc.... For most items if I don't have the money, I'll generate a budget/savings plan and go for it.

.33 must be some big plugs! (shocked)

.028" - .032" is what is recommended for the Speed3. You are right there so I am sure you are fine.

I found out that my grandfather officially has terminal cancer. He had cancer a few years ago and had chemotherapy for it. Unfortunately, he can't have it again because reached his max for it or something like that. I didn't catch the whole reason why. No one has told my mom yet and they have asked me to do it...

So I'm a ******* mess right now trying to keep myself together while trying to figure out how to tell my mom the news......

Yay me.

Came home today to a kitchen full of dried soap bubbles. Time for a new dish washer I guess.

Sorry to hear bout your grandfather Chris. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Sorry to hear about the news and your grandfather Chris! I can't begin to imagine how difficult it must be to make that call.

I lost my grandfather 12 years ago to his 2nd bout w/ lung cancer. Lost a lung the first time, but it came back with a vengeance 4 years later.

What sucked for us was that he decided he was done fighting it, and kept it to himself. He went on his annual trip down to fla for the winter, and did not make it thru december. My mom was devastated, that was the worst phone call I ever had to make in my life. She had just talked to him the night before. He was just that type of guy though, did not want anybody fussin over him.

My condolences to your family. My only advice is to get the whole family together as soon as you can, and enjoy what time you have left. Try and tell your mom as soon as you can. I struggled hard w/ how to do it, but in the end just had to bite the bullet and give it to her straight.

^ My wife's mother was the same. She refused to see a doctor and we never knew until it became so bad for her we had to bring her in. First diagnosis was that she had a year, 4 weeks later she passed away. My wife and I were the only 2 people there for her and in the last few days she was there everyday and held her hand as she passed on.

Chris, our hearts go out to you and your family.
