What have you done to your MSP today?

installed the medeival front and rear motormounts yesterday. the rear mount took about 2.5 hours, and it was not as bad as everyone has said. Also there is not much vibration at all.

Tried to install my walboro fuel pump that I ordered from PG but after getting to the pump and trying to install the walboro i found that the walboro is longer than the stocker and thereful could not successfully close/clip the housing on top to hold the pump in place. So back goes the old fuel pump till I figure out what the deal is. WTF.

I rotated my tires, changed the oil and lubed up the rear sway bar bushings this weekend too...and gave her the weekly bath.

it's how it is dude. you just needed to trim a little bit out of the white plastic holder thing, and it'll work. try again.

catless or high flow cat? Tight fit as in the 02 sensors bung placement?

Nah the 02 wasent a problem. time consuming extending the wires but not bad. the flange to the dp was a freaking ***** to get on, the flex pipe helped still used a mallot tho... I went with a high flow

does it change exhaust tone?

yeah its deeper and a lil louder but not much while inside the car standing at the rear of the car I could without a doubt hear a difference, it sounds way better. with a complete catless pipe Im sure its even better

I ask because I have a midpipe at my house that I need to install but I need to extend the 02 sensor wires as well. I just thought some dumbass put it on the wrong end of the pipe.

Edit: Would you suggest just buyign one of those pnp 02 sensor wire extentions?

Yesterday me and my MSP took 2nd place in local autocross in my class. The damn Mini-S beat me out my .2 seconds. I had a run that would have been .5 faster than him, but I hit a cone. Only my fourth event on race tires so I'm pleased.

You can also block off the port in the mid pipe and run the o2 with the non fouler trick in the stock j pipe that way you don't have to extend the wires just have to pull the o2 harness to the front of the engine

if you can find an extender harness it's obviously going to be easier for you to install. if you cant.. well. just extend them.

Well... I tried to get the motor out again saturday, it was a no go... I am still stuck on the wheel hub... I cant get that nut off of there, but for some reason one of my friends decided to try and get it off while I was helping someone else with there car, and yeah I definatly came back to the garage to see he decided to take a dye grinder to it to try and free it up a bit, so now I might as well just cut it off since I have to buy a new axel now due to him cutting part of the shaft... needless to say I was not happy...

that dude wouldn't be walking anymore if that were my car. My solution was a 2 by 4 set on the breaker bar.... then just a lil hop onto the 2 by 4, end or problem.

Pics of what he did? You may be able to fix it but who knows. What's wrong with the nut on the hub why won't it come out. And why is an axel holding you up from taking the engine out?

Yeah I can get some pictures up, I have a bad cell phone pic of it you cant really see the carnage. and the axle is past repair. and IDK why it wont come off, I've never had this hard of a time getting the hub nut off of a car, bit this is the first one I've come across that is indente int a key slot on the axle. and I'm pulling the tranny with the motor to do some work on it, altherwise I would have had the motor out long ago...

Yeah me and my buddy Jimmi tried hoping on a breakover bar with a cheater pipe on it, the result was a bent pipe and break over bar... and I sort of freaked out when I saw that the dude cut it, I threw the dye grinder at him... it didnt work to well, it was still hooked up to the compressor, and there was alot of yelling and threats, an wanting to tear limbs off of him etc etc, telling him I was going to shoot several holes threw his RB motor and burn his house down... you know the usual threats...

Unbolt the hub from the car and just pull the whole hub from the car with the axle that way you can get the engine and everything out if that nut won't come off...and just put it back in the same way...saves you from having to buy an axle as well.

Depending how jacked up it is, I don't know that I'd leave it on there...

yeah I would have pulled the hub with the axle, that was the second plan of attack when I got back from Waleed's but dude tried it himself... now I am planning on pulling the whole thing of and taking it off, it aint goin back on the car the way it is now... and he is deffinatly payin for everything he ****** up.
