Apparently someone thought that my Hyper Black 18" Rota Tarmac 3's would look better on their car, or maybe pad their pocket with some ill-gotten cash....

The insurance company was very understanding since I had the receipts, filed a police report, etc. Luckily I hadn't sold the stockers yet, so I got some cheap tires mounted and balanced to get her off the ground.

Luckily they didn't wreck anything, except some gouges in the jacking points (grrr) They didn't break into the car, they just stole the wheels. It's pretty ridiculous that it happened, I don't live in a bad part of town either. I'm getting a check from the insurance company for the wheels/tires and a new set of TPMS sensors. So all is well. It's still a pretty big kick in the nuts though to come out to your car sitting on firewood at 5am.

There were 20 keyed WheelTek lugs on there... The key was in my apartment, and I still have it... Besides, locking lugs don't stop pros, only amateurs.
