Badge Mods - lets see them!

I'm curious what other members have done to their badges - I'm getting a bit bored of the big flashy M, especially in the rear. I saw someone with sort of a batman symbol looking-mod at some point - that was pretty cool. Anyone else with an original idea?

im totally into a clean oem look lately so for me i just removed the mazdaspeed3 badge and painted all my other badges black just because red and chrome is a rediculously stupid color combo

Has anyone color matched them? was thinking about it but picturing it in my head i cant decided, i kinda need to see it.

Like going to mazda and getting true red paint and painting them that color

than it would look like the car was painted with the badges on, which looks stupid IMO.

i personally dont like that "bat symbol" thing either. either debadge it, or leave them alone. I think the Axela badge looks really good on the 3s tho.

I painted my badges black.

yea wasnt sure how the red on red would look, and really dont want to do them black, guess will just keep them as is, was thinking of doing them bronze so they will match my rims when i get the powder coated bronze

I agree - the black front looks killer. Wonder how that would look on a Cosmic Blue?

What if someone said it would look ugly, would you still do it?

And the colormatched emblems look pretty good imo. Don't have pics of them, but I know forum member swampass painted his true red and came out great.

just taped everything off, hit it with some light sanding, and did 3 coats of satin black paint with no clear coat. That was taken 2 days ago, and the paint was done last july, so it still looks great. And they are street unit custom black front and rear mazda badges. :)

There is a side view...before I got the eye lids and jdm tow hook put on. You get the idea tho, I love the blacked out grill. i think it makes the front end look more aggressive. Please excuse the cell phone quality pic.
