EGR Valve and Synthetic/Dino Oil

Experience with Synth/Dino oil and EGR Issues.

Just had a thought, wondering if there is any correlation to running synth and having to replace the EGR. Thought I'd do an "unscientific" study and see what the consensus is.

no, I couldn't see any correlation between synthetic oil and the EGR valve. The egr value deals with air/fuel, not oil.

I think he is getting at the crank case vent that goes from teh valve cover to the intake. obviously their is some crap getting into the intake due to people installing catch cans.
 
OHHHH i see what you mean. most people just put a small breather there. either way it shouldnt affect anything
