the 3 has such a bubble hood, that it looks funny completely unpainted like that. it would clash to me without the rims, but i actually like the blue on silver, so it def clashes with the rims to me.

but it is your car, just add more cf to match!

yeah. hopefully by this summer i'll have a full CF hatch

Indeed it was on purpose. I don't like the wheels facing the other way when taking photos from that side and at that angle. It's just me I guess.

just thought i'd offer a different crop here. makes the car more of a focal point, accentuates the red stripes and accents on the building, and eliminates some of the dirty concrete in the foreground.... and yeah, they still watchin' you!
