Dealers are looking to get rid of anything leftover from 2008. My mom just picked up a 2008 Caliber SRT-4 for 18000. Sticker was for 24,730. Brand new, sat on the dealer lot for 384 days and they wanted it gone. Actually had 3 others there as well. Bottom line, anything leftover and with the economy, you can pretty much steal if the dealer wants to move inventory.
Yeah I got rid of the evo for the ms3. Needed something smoother for a DD and I don't know how fast they'll flip a 2004 evo with just under 100k miles on it. Might be harder to get power now but 300hp doesn't seem to tough and that's plenty for going fast while driving to work

Exact same reason that my Trans Am was replaced by a MS3. I sold my T/A privately and gained $2500 over what trade-in would be.
My used '07 MS3 Sport with 7k miles cost me $18k when the '08 models came out lol... part of me wishes I'd waited, but at the time, the '09s had not been announced and I didn't think there would be an '09!!

finally somebody approved me for a car loan with a reasonable APR. being a first time buyer without a co-signer in todays market sucks.
now I just need to play with the dealers a bit and see which one gives me the best price. hopefully by the end of next week I'm the owner of a new speed3 GT (naughty)
