Mazdaspeed 3 Carbon Fiber Vented Hood

So I've seen the "mock up" pics from cashmere but I was wandering if anyone had a pic of the final product installed on their car.. **********'s site only shows a mazdaspeed 6 and all though they say it is basically the same hood i would like to see some pics installed
also does anyone know if this is a quick switch or do you have to drill wholes for the intercooler shroud and stuff.
Does it come reaty to go?
@also if anyone could explain to me the point of upgrading to carbon kevlar(other than color) that would be sweet

There was pick of it on a red MS3 that looked kind of strange because of the color contrast. It was in a thread called aftermarket hoods or something like that. I'm also very interested in this if anyone has a pic of the hood on a black car.

i think i ran across that one but that one is the dg vented hood.. im more interested in the fiber images one that's carbon fiber with a big vent in the middle..
love to see pics of both though
and a black car would be awesome but any will do ; )

You have to drill holes for the TMIC shroud, but it shouldnt take that long to do.

So does the whole shroud from our stock hood transfer? Like that whole dark grey piece that has pop rivets and stuff?
I guess mybiggest concern is not having to buy or do any major adjustments.. If all I have to do is drill a few wholes and transfer than I am in..

Not exactly my cup of tea.. but it's out there-- and a bargain at 157500 yen... or 1600 dollars..

I like the fiber images vented hood myself. I think what it needs is the sides of the hood painted along the line below the mirror that comes up and meets the grill. I think do that and then put a cf roof skin on the car, it would be a sick combination!! The F.I. vented hood is on my list along with street unit mirror polished TMIC

noone has this hood : (... someone mentioned carbon kevlar was lighter than the regular hood... im aware that carbon fiber is lighter.. carbon kevlar is an extra 200 bucks though.. is it lighter than regular carbon fiber? or sturdier?

rice alert? uhhhhh a carbon fiber hood has nothing to do with being a ricer.. hood stripes has nothing to do with being a ricer.. cf roof has nothing to do with being a ricer..

I suppose... really looking for pics of the speed 3 with carbon hood...
not animated cop cars with flashing lights and a terribly cheezy "rice alert" line

But i actually ordered the carbon fiber vented hood a few days ago.. I have no idea how long it will take to get, I would think about a month or so, but ill post some pics whenever i get'r done

I`m one of those who feels like anything that is put on to make a car look like it should be fast but contributes nothing to making it faster is "rice".
Putting a skin on the roof to make it look like a lightweight panel was there instead of the factory panel qualifies.
At least the hood would shave a few pounds off the front of the car.
